Singletary electrified the racing world in 2004 when he captured the G1 Breeders’ Cup Mile. Singletary proved that dreams can come true with a modest priced horse. Purchased for $30,000, Singletary earned almost two million dollars on the race track and became a stallion in California. He won at age two, three, four and five and dominated the California grass division in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Egg Drop, better known as the "White Witch", became one of the sports most popular horses in 2013, when she rattled off three straight graded stakes wins at three different racetracks. The grey daughter of Alphabet Soup's finest moment came in the final running of the GI Matriarch Stakes where she showed her true grit and determination by coming back when she looked defeated. Egg Drop was sold by LRF to Bridlewood Farm in the Keeneland 2014 Breeding Stock Sale for $1.9M.
Purchased at the Timonium 2yo in training sale, Secret Spice broke her maiden in her second career start by a widening five lengths at Santa Anita for trainer Richie Baltas. The Discreet Cat filly proved she was going to be a major player when she won a one mile allowance race as a 3yo at Santa Anita by 11 and a quarter lengths! She earned a 106 Beyer Speed Figure for her victory. It it was only five months later when she captured the G1 Beholder, defeating G1 winners Marleys Freedom and Paradise Woods. Secret Spice sold at the Fasig Tipton November Sale for $1.7m.
An LRF private purchase after a successful campaign in Pennsylvania, Mirth captured her second So Cal race for new trainer Phil D'Amato... and then went on a six race losing streak. However, LRF never lost faith in the daughter of Colonel John, and gave her a chance in the G1 Rodeo Drive Stakes at Santa Anita. With hall-of-fame rider Mike Smith aboard, Mirth went wire to wire to capture the G1, which led to a start in the Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf. MIrth set fast fractions in the Breeders' Cup and still was in front at the eighth pole before fading late. Mirth capped off her career by winning the G3 Robert Frankel Stakes and was sold at the Fasig Tipton November Sale for $1,050,000.
Del Mar’s All-time leading stakes winner, Midnight Storm was one of the most versatile and fastest horses of our generation. Midnight Storm joins Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh as the only sons of Pioneerof The Nile with six or more Beyer Performances of 105+.

Next up, Fault turned in the performance of her career when dominating the GI Santa Margarita Stakes - on dirt - by over six lengths earning a 101 Beyer in the process. Fault kept her winning streak alive when she captured the G3 Adoration in the final start of her career. She was sold as a broodmare in November for $1.1M.
Purchased privately from Ireland by Niall Dalton, and trained by Phil D’Amato, Gold Phoenix (IRE) became the 7th LRF horse to win a G1 with an incredible stretch drive in the prestiguous 2023 Frank E. Kilroe Mile at Santa Anita Park. In 2022, as a four-year-old, Gold Phoenix (IRE) captured the G2 Del Mar Handicap, a Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” race, and qualified for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Turf at Keeneland, where he finished 10th. It was the only time in his career where he failed to “hit the baord” in 11 starts - 5 of which have been graded stakes races.
Purchased by bloodsock agent John Dowd out of the OBS March sale, and impeccably bred by Walker Hancock and Hunter Rankin, Icreamuscream won the 2024 G1 Del Mar Oaks at Del Mar with a performance that stamped her as one of the best 3YO turf fillies in America.
